Ramonet, Chassagne Montrachet Rouge Size:12x750ml Gains weight and structure withA cool, pure and peppery earth inflected combination reflects notes of primarily red berries with just a hint of dark currant. The round yet nicely detailed middle weight flavors are not especially dense, but I like the depth on the ever so mildly austere finale that flashes a touch of warmth. This manages to avoid the usual Chassagne rouge rusticity and is a wine that could easily be enjoyed young if thats your preference.
